Writing from Life: writer's group for women now forming
Who: Beginner and experienced women writers are welcome. The group size is limited to ten participants.
What: Using a workshop format, facilitator D. Ellis Phelps will provide prompts, and give suggestions about approaches, habits, attitudes, and techniques that will stimulate the writing process. Writers will write and have the opportunity to share what they have written, and lessons from their process during the writing at each session. The group will strive to maintain a safe, supportive group dynamic that offers no negative, editorial criticsim.
When: 1-3 PM; the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month beginning March 17, 2009 and ongoing.
Where: Moon Shadow Sancutary,
4594 US Hwy. 281 N.
(.5 miles north of Hwy. 46 at The Branches). Why: To build confidence in the beginning writer and give audience to the experienced writer while at the same time, providing opportunities for personal growth and community building.
